Almiraj Cove

Almiraj Cove

Almiraj Cove is a small, peaceful valley hidden from the outside world by thick bushes and densely growing trees. Behind this natural barrier lies a narrow gorge, where a tiny creek winds its way through stone before vanishing into a dark hole in the ground. Rounding a bend, the gorge suddenly opens into a secluded valley surrounded by steep, rocky hills.

At the back of the horseshoe‑shaped cove, a slender waterfall runs down the mountain wall. Over countless millennia, the falling water has carved a small pond at its base, from which the stream flows gently back toward the valley’s entrance.

Four short, thick, leafy trees stand near the pond, forming a curved line that leads eastward. Beneath the shade of the largest tree rests a small wooden dock. Hanging wooden bridges leap from tree to tree, and each trunk holds a doorway opening onto a modest balcony.

Small grassy knolls cover the floor of the cove. Tiny, round holes dot the sides of the surrounding hills, and all about them hop cheerful almiraj—cute, furry rabbits with unicorn‑like horns—darting happily across the hillocks.
